Hi Rob - what a strong and clear transfer which is unusual on this early pot. It is in fact, the second Holloway pot - the first being the Universal Family Ointment which predates it be several years...you need to buy a copy of the ointment pot book :)


A lovely rare pot nevertheless and now valued at 150+...try and buy another one.

Not mine I hasten to add Mark but an example from Paul Barker's site.

Paul dates use of the 244 Strand address to between 1840 and 1867.
