Nat and I had a good day at the Stratford show yesterday and it was good to see so many familiar faces from near and far:cool:. A big thanks to the local lads who supplied the codds and the other lads for the flagons:Wow:. The repairs were limited to a few new items as I really need to do other work not done for so long, but other outstanding resto's should be back by Corsham.

I then have another project to sort, but i'll be back to restorations in the Autumn:D Anyway, a few new items for the collection from a wreck that went down in the Channel in 1855. The large Crown Vinegar has the early date lozenge on the base. The jar is from Mortimer, Salt merchant London. The small jar is dated 1852. The pipe also comes from the wreck.

Codds are Ballenger Monmouth, Watkins Llandovery and Arthur Jones Holywell. All 6oz.

C'mon, Andy, show us yer Hansards! (Jammy bugger!)

If you insist Nat.

I was very lucky to pick up this Hansards ginger variation at the Stratford show.......it's a bit plain and boring, but is rare as hell and completes the Hansards, Swansea ginger beers set for me.
