Getting out into the countryside is always good, but on a fine day like Friday and Saturday its all the better. I'm aware that people with 'soul' collect bottles and they also appreciate the countryside and all that is in it, so I enjoyed a number of good walk's with Sammy recently.

Sammy's obviously a lot more active than our couch potato lurcher. A quick run round the park and a squirrel for breakfast, then it's back home to sleep for the rest of the day.

Sammy will run all day Andy as he is enjoying life now. He knows all our friends who call here inc you, GJ, MB and all the others, but he is a GSD and has gone nuts with some people (the few I point out ). He's a great dog to be with and very intelligent and eager to please me. He don't half like water!:D We are also spotting potential tips on our walks.

Wow, Natty baby, you are getting the hang of him now, just thank your lucky stars that Sammy is not a political animal, and just a canine soulmate:hehe:!!

Here is my escape into the wilds. I have the good luck to live within easy walking distance of a forest and small lake complex, here are a few piccys taken over the last week. The tree with the white wash (Herons crap) houses 5 nests all with fledglings in.

Where Mark had his 3 hours up the mountain, I had three hours of solitary patience to take those:D.

Great photo's Cyril, plenty of colour and depth there. Green issues are growing all over the world, and not a minute before time. Maybe we are a part of it?

As for the enamel, its doing my bloody head in, but its coming along and its now in the painting stage. As long as Sammy doesn't cock his leg on it!
