I use ink or food colouring and a dash of sterilizing solution to bring the best out of mine - I know that won't be everyone's cup of tea - but they do look nice on a shelf with back lighting or in a window - the colour brings out the etching too....

Glyn/Aberdare used to do that and it does look impressive Mike. Lewis Bros never looked so good.:cool:
