I don't post down here much, so I thought I would post up my new hair bottle for a change. Don't ask why I collect hair bottles as I still have my mop; I just like them :)

I would post my other hair bottles up, but they are packed away ready for our house move(whenever that will be), but I do have some pics of the dug items this year. I mainly like the variations of the colours but among them are other random cures and chemist/household bits, but mostly in vivid shades.:) The coloured glass thing strikes again!:D

Love Natty's fairy lamps in the back ground Mark, you cannot beat coloured bottle bling! That is the attraction to combine a utility throwaway with an historical background into an eye catching display. Fun enjoyment and satisfaction , and not at ransom prices.:)

Absolutely Cyril, as the coloured hair bottles and other similar utilities are a casual collecting theme, it seems to be more fun! :) The same goes for Nat's fairy lights which we both enjoy. Since that photo was taken, Nat has another odd coloured light finished in an olive/amber shade via eBay and a deep amber shade off Mike Bowen. Non of our coloured items are rare or expensive, but they still have the fascination of a past era and still look great any time of year:)

Some nice BW Hairs there. Think I have a variation somewhere. Need to get washing I think.

Nice fairys, again I have lots of these, the nicest is a pontilled red one dug off a local forties tip.

Any of yours pontilled Mark?

The stands work well, can I ask where they are from?

Me and manse77 dug the B W Hairs bottles, plus other coloured stuff from local tips. We don't dig a lot of decent emerald green cures or poisons though. There are more blue items around here than emerald green.

The fairy lights are Nat's and I think one or two are pontilled(I know the deep blue one is), but pontilled is not essential to her. If you want a few good pontilled lights try Mudlark. I'm sure Phil has a few early ones for sale. ;)

Nat tells me the clear acrylic stand for the lights are via eBay. I think Nat needs a few new ones the way her fairy lights are going.:D

Here's my Festive Effort Mark...

Off out to get some Holly to pad them out with today...

The flickering LED candle lights are worth getting as they don't risk damaging the glass like a naked flame of a tealight or candle

No wonder so many of them are cracked!
