Please note: I have never claimed to be an expert on anything except perhaps making the perfect omelet, and if you don’t like spicy, you’d probably argue with me on that one, too. In fact, anyone claiming to be an expert on anything, in my opinion, should immediately be viewed with suspicion, or be able to produce a PhD Diploma on the subject he or she is professing to be expert in.”

Its the label that says it all, superb, who cares about the cracks, find me a perfect one! It knits together the popularity of Gin(mothers ruin) and its connection with the working classes, of 19th. century Britain, the dutch import was considered to be better than the home grown "hootch"and not so poisenous but purer!!

The Meder & Zoon isn't actually cracked, its a black swirl in the glass! I think it adds character!

Fab bottles, the black streak fooled my eyes, as you say it adds character. The pictorial Poema (puma) label is the best I've seen on a gin.

Wanted --- any unusual items from Kent & the South East, including advertising, early stoneware, & bottles (of course!).  Also rare patent poisons, early pontilled medicines, & rare burst lip/teakettle inks.
