Heres a few better pics I made today of the last two bottles I showed on here.

Spa water bottle 1750 -1760 19 cm

Small square utility?  12.5 cm , 18th century.

The small square still has its sealer around the neck. Some kind of tar/Pitch? I have been so tempted to scape this off as the bottle would look so much nicer on the shelf! But havent as once its gone its gone and no recreating history!

WANTED: EMBOSSED,PONTILLED

CONTINENTAL BOTTLES and Small

unembossed vials/Phials, British or Continental.

Iridescence or sickness?,Great... even better !

PLEASE P.M. OR EMAIL ME.

THANKYOU,STEVE.

Jesus Rob well impressed with the collection. Love all the different shapes of the Onions and also the stunning iridescents and especially the one with the rainbow affect. Also the onion transitional mallet with the sloping shoulders on the far right is very unusual and a form i dont have yet in my collection. And as for the phials they look superb. We will soon be calling you Rob Nightingale.

I am packing this small square utility or Snuff bottle away today, so thought I would take a few better pictures of it and post them here before it goes into its box.You can still see the remains of its closure, made from either lead or pewter? and most likely a screw top method was used.Another metal threaded component fitting into this bottom half. The glass lip is in perfect condition as is the whole bottle.

I agree with Malcy as it does look like moss agate or lichen. I love the thinner square utility/medicine you put on before the wider square snuff. I also like your two small salt glazed oil bottles. Thanks for all the effort as per usual Steve as its really appreciated, cheers Wayne.
