Am going to the US Expo in July 27 - 29, Reno, California.
Not yet worked out a route - could be Vegas and up thro' Death Valley, Mammoth, Toulomne Meadows etc ......
Anyone fancy tagging along - at the mo it could be 3 so far, so need a 4th?

I am as poor as a church mouse mysen !! , bit of northern dialect there  ,thought you were the one offering the trip  ,must say i have seen some U.S.A reports and they look superb , might stand corrected but sure Peter and Helen Holmes from the east anglian club went to one some time back and enthused over the quality and bon homme .

Plenty o bon homme, plenty of variety and different stuff ..... huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge event. Always a slim chance of picking somat up from 'over the water' .... that travelled in the early years (when made, or before we all woke up here as collectors).
Yes - the Holmes's av ventured over .... Dave Van Loon & Richard Womersley go over EVERY year and fund their trip from their diggings?
The US Expo is held every 4 yrs, in a different state each time. Reno is a gambling city California - described as "the BIGGEST little city in the world" ..... at the foot of the majestic Sierras Nevada mountain landscape ......
3 nights in the huge conference/ gambling/ resort - in a huuuuuuuge room @ around £120 (can be for 4 people?)!!!!!!!

cant make this years expo unfortunatley ,,but did the national in reno a few years back and was a cracking show indeed
very busy , they reckon this years will be 500+ stalls
hoping to get to next years all being well in the north east area ..
If you can get there please make the effort you wont regret it

Please make yersen known if you are half interested to be in on this trip of a lifetime. As Dave sez - potentially 500+ stalls - all under one hall/ roof!!!!!
